Annapolis, Maryland - October 6, 2008
iJET Intelligent Risk Systems, a leading provider of global intelligence and business resiliency services, today announced the appointment of Sean Gibson to Vice President of Sales and the promotion of Mark Griffith to Vice President of Operations Technology. The appointments follow steady company growth and strong demand for iJET’s industry-leading products and services.
"iJET is fortunate to have a group of accomplished executives with the expertise and industry knowledge to guide our strategic direction through the next stages of growth,” said Steve Hoffman, iJET’s CEO. “The addition of Sean and the promotion of Mark to our executive team shows that we are not only committed to finding the best talent available in the larger market, but also that we foster talent from within the company.”
Gibson brings more than 25 years of experience in sales, account management and business development to iJET. He previously served as Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic Region and Store Solutions for SAP Retail, Inc., a provider of business software solutions, where he delivered $7 million in software license revenue. Prior to SAP, Sean spent 24 years with Manugistics Group, Inc., a global provider of demand and supply chain management software solutions, including tenure as Vice President of the North American consumer goods markets.
To meet the growing needs of iJET’s business, iJET promoted Mark Griffith to Vice President of Operations Technology. Griffith brings more than 18 years of experience to iJET in deploying and managing critical systems and services. He will guide iJET’s technology infrastructure team to enhance both internal IT systems and those supporting iJET’s award-winning Worldcue® Global Control Center solution. Griffith was promoted to the new role after joining iJET in 2006 as Director of Operations Technology. He was previously a Senior Technical Program Manager at ARINC.
The expansion of the leadership team comes after iJET was named to Deloitte’s prestigious Technology Fast 50 program for Maryland – a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in the state – for the second year in a row.
