Annapolis, Maryland - September 25, 2008
iJET International, a leading provider of global intelligence and business resiliency services, today announced it has been named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Maryland, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, and life sciences companies in the area. The rankings, developed by leading professional services organization Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, are based on revenue growth over the past five years.
iJET's CEO, Steve Hoffman, credits innovation and the ability to provide advanced business resiliency services in today’s growing market with the company's 194 percent revenue growth from 2003 to 2007. Hoffman said, “We are thrilled to be given such an honor again this year. Our continued growth shows that our intelligence and innovative technology provides exactly what our clients need to better prepare for and prevent business disruptions from affecting their people, supply chain and assets.”
To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2003 and $5,000,000 in 2007, be headquartered in Maryland, and be a company that owns proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology.
Companies from the nine regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America’s top 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies.
