Industry Experts to Share Insight and Expertise on International Event Best Practices

Bruce McIndoe, President of iJET Intelligent Risk Systems, a leading provider of global intelligence and business resiliency services, will moderate a panel on travel and event risk management focused on global events, such as the 2008 Olympic Games, at the 2008 NBTA International Convention & Exposition. The panel, 2008 Olympics:“Travel & Event Risk Management - Take Home the Gold,” will provide insight on best practices in travel and event risk management for large-scale, international occasions.
Consisting of seasoned travel managers, event planners and corporate security personnel from leading global corporations, the panel will offer practical advice on policy development as well as pre- and post- assessments and tools. Using the upcoming Olympic Games as an example, attendees will walk away with the knowledge, tips, and advice necessary to benchmark their own risk management and preparedness programs necessary for safety and security during international events.
The 2008 NBTA International Convention & Exposition, held July 27 to 30 in Los Angeles, is expected to draw 6,500-plus participants consisting of corporate travel managers and travel suppliers representing the leading corporations of the global Fortune 500 and European Financial Times 50.
