iJET Awarded Continuation of Travel Risk Management Patent
Company Also Granted Allowance for Global Asset Risk Management System and Method Patent
Annapolis, Maryland - July 10, 2007

iJET Intelligent Risk Systems, a leading provider of global intelligence, business resiliency technology and integrated emergency response services, announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) has granted iJET an enhancement, referred to by the PTO as a continuation, that further strengthens its Travel Information Method and Associated System patent. The continuation broadens iJET’s existing patent to include the method by which the company acquires, analyzes and utilizes travel information.

This continuation acknowledges the proprietary business processes behind iJET’s Worldcue® Travel Risk Management solution, technology and services that automatically relate global threats and incidents to travelers’ itineraries.  Through real-time collection, collation and dissemination of intelligence, travelers and their affiliated organizations are alerted to threats or disruptions and provided immediate access to advice, emergency response services and communications capabilities.

Additionally, iJET has received notification of final allowance from the PTO for its Global Asset Risk Management System and Method.  The systems and methods protected by iJET’s first patent are aimed at protecting travelers, while its Global Asset Risk Management systems and methods address risks to an organization’s people, facilities, supply chains and other physical assets worldwide.

“iJET has persistently delivered solutions for keeping customers’ people and assets safe from harm,” said iJET CEO Bruce McIndoe.  “The innovative systems and methods we’ve developed not only enable us to better serve our clients year after year, but they support increased efficiency and productivity.”

These allowances further protect iJET’s intellectual property and validate its business model by recognizing both its foundational systems and the related business processes as unique, protected properties.

“The original patent, the continuation, and this new patent are a testament to iJET’s highly skilled team and to its mission to bring leading edge technologies and business processes to market,” said Greg Meyer, iJET CTO.

iJET originally received notification of allowance for its travel risk management system in August 2004. The patent was formally issued in January 2005.
