iJET to Host Free Webinar on Security Threats in Niger Delta

The presentation, aptly titled “Niger Delta: Operating in an Increasingly Dangerous Environment,” is the second in an ongoing series of informational webinars delivered by iJET experts. Frederic Ngoga-Gateretse, Africa Regional Manager for iJET, will lead the in-depth discussion around the challenging security environment in the Niger Delta. Ngoga-Gateretse, a native of Burundi, worked as a research assistant for Solutions for Progress and at the African Studies Center at the University of Pennsylvania prior to joining iJET’s intelligence team. He was also an observer for the African Union at the United Nations and assisted in research for the book Raise the Floor - Wages and Policies That Work for All of Us, by Holly Sklar and Laryssa Mykyta. Ngoga-Gateretse often discusses the conflicts in Burundi, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo on international radio, including Radio France International, Voice of America and the British Broadcasting Company.
