Kathie Lia Joins iJET as Vice President of Travel Partnerships
Annapolis, Maryland - April 9, 2007
iJET Intelligent Risk Systems, a leading provider of global intelligence, operating risk management technology and integrated emergency response services, announced today that travel industry veteran Kathie Lia has joined the company as Vice President of Travel Partnerships.
In this newly created position, Lia will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with travel industry partners and creating effective risk management solutions for the travel industry.
Lia joins iJET after more than 16 years with some of the biggest names in the airline and travel industries, including Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Maritz and TWA. Most recently she served as Global Product Director, Safety and Security at Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), the world’s second-largest travel management company. At CWT, Lia developed, launched and managed CWT Guardian, the company’s suite of travel safety and security products.

Prior to Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Lia was director of technology marketing for Maritz. Lia has held a number of other key positions in travel technology, marketing and sales. She holds dual B.A. degrees from the University of Kansas in Personnel Administration and Political Science.
