iJET to Host Free Travel Risk Management Benchmarking Webinar
CEO Bruce McIndoe to Present TRM3™ Model and Strategies for Evaluating and Improving Travel Safety and Security Programs
Annapolis, Maryland - March 19, 2007
iJET Intelligent Risk Systems, a leading provider of global intelligence, operating risk management technology and integrated emergency response services, will host a free webinar on March 27 designed to help travel, security and risk executives build and maintain effective corporate travel risk management programs. The live web event, the first in iJET’s Executive Webinar Series, is based on iJET’s proprietary Travel Risk Management Maturity Model™ (TRM3™), an innovative framework enabling organizations to assess and benchmark their travel risk management programs.
During the event, participants will be guided through an assessment of their own managed travel programs, enabling them to immediately begin benchmarking their programs against others in the marketplace and strategizing for improvement.
The one-hour webinar, scheduled for March 27 at 1:00 pm EDT, will be offered free to all registrants. iJET’s CEO, Bruce McIndoe, will offer perspective about the growing importance of corporate travel risk management programs and will demonstrate to participants how TRM3 provides a method to objectively assess their programs and determine where to focus resources next, ultimately reducing risk. He will also share benchmarking data from more than 40 multinational organizations that have completed the TRM3 self-assessment.
"Corporations have witnessed a swiftly rising standard of care for traveling employees since 9/11, and travel managers have had to respond by building, with very limited industry guidance, travel risk management programs,” McIndoe said. “This webinar is about enabling travel managers to evaluate and rate their programs, ensure continuous improvement and objectively measure their own success relative to that of similar programs in other organizations."
TRM3 defines the maturity of an organization’s travel risk management program based on a set of key process areas (KPAs) that are required to implement and support a successful program. The KPAs include Policy/Procedures, Training, Risk Assessment, Risk Disclosure, Risk Monitoring, Data Management, Communications and Response. Using iJET's TRM3 model and evaluation process, companies can self assess and rate each KPA – and, ultimately, their overall programs – across five levels of maturity: Reactive, Defined, Proactive, Managed and Optimized.
