Eljay Bowron, Dick Mainey Join iJET'S Security Intelligence Board
Former U.S. Secret Service Director, Security Veteran from Marsh & McLennan Add Broad Expertise to iJET Security Board

Annapolis, Maryland - September 22, 2006

iJET Intelligent Risk Systems, a leading provider of global intelligence, operating risk management technology and integrated emergency response services, today announced that seasoned security professionals Eljay Bowron and Dick Mainey have joined iJET’s Security Intelligence Board. Bowron and Mainey round out a team of security industry leaders appointed by iJET to advise the company through the expansion of its operational risk management services and its international open source security intelligence network.

Eljay Bowron served as the 18th Director of the United States Secret Service, a position to which he was appointed in December of 1993. During his tenure, he led a crisis management team that initiated security improvements at the White House complex, including the closing of Pennsylvania Avenue to vehicular traffic to protect it from terrorist attacks. Following his retirement from the U.S. Secret Service in 1997, Bowron served in senior executive positions at the Social Security Administration, the Government Accounting Office (GAO), and the Department of the Interior, where he was appointed Inspector General. Following his government service, Bowron served in the private sector as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Vance International, an international security and consulting firm. Bowron currently serves as Chief Security Officer for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Health System, an internationally recognized medical, research, and education center.

Dick Mainey recently retired from the Global Security Director position at Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC) after a 35-year distinguished career in security management. Prior to his time at MMC, Mainey, a trained engineer, managed and developed security programs in more than 100 countries for Morgan Stanley. Mainey developed his expertise in security and risk management during more than 30 years at IBM, where he served as an engineer before holding several senior security positions, including Director of Security for IBM’s worldwide operations. Mainey, who has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University and conducted graduate work at Pace University, is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) International and ISMA, the International Security Management Association.

“We are so pleased that Dick and Eljay are bringing their wealth of industry expertise to our Security Intelligence Board,” said iJET Vice President of Operations, Richard Melody. “Their collective experience – together with their wise counsel – will be instrumental in our security board’s efforts to continually improve the operational risk management services we provide for our clients.”
