Jeff Schlanger Joins iJET´s Security Intelligence Board

Annapolis, Maryland - October 31, 2002 - Jeff Schlanger, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Security Services Group for the international risk-consulting firm Kroll, Inc., today joined the Security Intelligence Advisory Board of iJET Travel Intelligence, the travel risk management company.

Schlanger joined Kroll in 1998 when Kroll acquired Corplex Incorporated, the private investigation and security firm that Schlanger founded in 1990. Prior to founding Corplex, Schlanger served as assistant district attorney, senior investigative counsel and senior trial counsel to Manhattan District Attorney Robert M. Morgenthau. Schlanger began his career in the trial division of that office trying high-profile cases as a homicide assistant. He later served in the Rackets Bureau of the office, where he prosecuted major organized crime figures including John Gotti, the head of the Gambino crime family.

As an iJET board member, Schlanger will help manage and grow the company´s existing body of reliable security intelligence, which has expanded to cover more than 180 countries and 260 cities worldwide. Schlanger joins six other industry leaders who comprise iJET´s Security Intelligence Advisory Board:
  • Hank DeGeneste, Vice President of Global Security, Prudential Financial
  • Bob Oatman, Founder, R.L. Oatman & Associates, Inc.
  • Tom Reckford, President, World Affairs Council
  • Peter Savage, Vice President of Security, Passport Health
  • Tony Scotti, Founder, Tony Scotti Associates
  • Mike Weinstein, Retired Deputy Director, United States Secret Service
"iJET´s travel risk management services provide extraordinary value and peace of mind to corporations and their employees," Schlanger said. "The company´s 24x7 global monitoring, employee locator and communications capabilities, and regional and category expertise clearly establish iJET as the world leader in this field. I am honored to join the Security Intelligence Advisory Board and look forward to working with this elite team of advisors."

iJET CEO Bruce McIndoe added, "Jeff brings a wealth of knowledge, insight and experience to iJET's Security Intelligence Advisory Board, enabling us to tap the best minds in the security field and, ultimately, bring great value to our clients. We are proud to add Jeff to our team."
