iJET Enhances Travel Risk Management Services
Expansion Includes Integration of Kroll Information Service; Coverage Increased to 180 Countries, 260 Cities
Annapolis, Maryland - September 10, 2002 - iJET® Travel Intelligence®, the travel risk management company, announced today a series of enhancements to its Worldcue® services
that provide a new level of timely strategic and tactical intelligence and broader
international coverage. These service upgrades have resulted from the strategic
partnership with Kroll announced last May and the subsequent integration of the
Kroll Information Service (KINS) to iJET. Enhancements include:
- The Kroll Travel Watch database content has been verified and integrated into the iJET Worldcue
Global Travel Intelligence Database, improving what was already the most comprehensive
database available on the market.
- Worldcue coverage has expanded from 150 countries and 24 cities to 180 countries and 260
cities.
- The new Daily Intelligence Briefing (DIB), available Monday through Friday mornings
through automatic email distribution and online, reflects overnight and up-to-the-minute
situation reports from iJET's 24x7 intelligence operation center.
- The new Monthly Intelligence Review (MIR) provides a strategic view of key issues
and trends affecting multinational corporations and travelers around the globe.
"iJET´s recent service enhancements make a good service even better," commented Peter
Savage, an international security consultant specializing in corporate crisis
management and author of The Safe Travel Book, a standard reference for corporate
security officers and travel managers. "Facing today's geopolitical uncertainties
with travelers in every corner of the globe, corporate Security Directors welcome
the broader and more timely international Travel Intelligence coverage that iJET
is now delivering."
iJET´s intelligence experts continuously monitor events in 180 countries through more
than 5,000 worldwide sources. Security, travel, risk management and other managers
in client companies receive real-time advisories on developments around the world
and have the ability to track, monitor, and communicate with traveling employees.
Via email or wireless device, travelers are automatically sent itinerary-based
alerts about events and conditions that may impact their trip, along with recommendations
for minimizing travel disruptions.
"We continue to enhance our Worldcue service by leveraging the former KINS content
and Kroll's global operations," said iJET CEO Bruce McIndoe. "By arming
our clients with critical information - through our reports, assessments, real-time
alerts and other travel risk management services - we help travelers stay safe
and productive while on the road."
