iJET Providing Real-Time Travel Intelligence Services to World Bank
Annapolis, Maryland - June 4, 2002 - iJET® Travel Intelligence® announced today it is providing the World Bank, one of the world´s largest sources of international poverty-reduction assistance, with real-time Travel Intelligence information services throughout their global operations.
Under this program, iJET is providing the World Bank with its integrated Worldcue® Services platform for traveler management, tracking, communications and intelligence information. In addition, the World Bank´s travelers are supported by iJET´s WorldcueTraveler™ service, which monitors their itineraries around-the-clock and sends relevant real-time travel alerts before, during and after travel. Travelers are notified via e-mail, pager, cell phone, or other wireless device about events that might impact their trip and are provided recommendations for minimizing travel disruptions.
To support the World Bank´s operations, which include 27,000 travel missions each year, iJET is expanding worldwide intelligence coverage from 154 to 180 countries, including expansion in Africa from 17 to 34 countries. iJET intelligence experts continuously monitor more than 5,000 worldwide sources with a focus on security, health, entry/exit, transportation, communication, finance, culture, environment, legal issues and language.
