iJET Kroll and iJET Form Strategic Partnership to Provide Enhanced Travel Intelligence and Security Services

Annapolis, Maryland and New York, New York - May 28, 2002 - Kroll Inc. (Nasdaq: KROL), the global risk consulting company, announced today that it has formed a strategic partnership with iJET Travel Intelligence, a leading provider of real-time risk advisory services for corporate travelers and the travel industry. Under the agreement, Kroll and iJET will combine their expertise in Travel Intelligence® and security services to provide clients with a comprehensive portfolio of travel-related risk management services.

Over the next two months, Kroll's political and travel risk customers will be transitioned to an enhanced suite of services which integrate Kroll's historical information databases with iJET's 24-hour-a-day information collection, analysis and delivery capabilities. The Kroll-iJET partnership will serve more than 170 current multinational clients with real-time risk advisory and travel intelligence services covering 180 countries and 300 cities globally. These include:
  • Real-time, 24/7 intelligence coverage of breaking events around the world
  • Tailored intelligence, delivered to employees' desktops, laptops, cell phones, or PDAs
  • The ability to track, monitor, and communicate with traveling employees
  • >Personalized intelligence services for individual travelers, tailored to their itineraries and personal profiles
In addition, the Kroll-iJET partnership will combine the companies´ diverse travel-related services, offering clients a single source of proactive risk and crisis management services to protect their employees. These services, bundled according to specific clients´ needs, might include, for example, 24x7 emergency medical and travel assistance, personal protection services, crisis hotlines, and emergency evacuation services.
