Archer
Daniels Midland Signs with iJET Travel Intelligence
Annapolis, Maryland - May 30, 2001 - Archer Daniels Midland (ADM),
a worldwide leader in agricultural processing, has contracted iJET Travel Intelligence
to provide travel intelligence and customized travel services to ADM´s 23,000
employees.
iJET Travel Intelligence, based in Annapolis, MD, is the first intelligence organization
dedicated to serving the needs of business and leisure travelers around the world.
iJET monitors more than 5,000 sources worldwide - around-the-clock - and analyzes,
verifies and distills key details into practical, personalized and concise knowledge
to help travelers avoid and manage potential travel problems.
Through its Worldcue service, iJET delivers up-to-the-minute destination reports and real-time
alerts before, during and after travel. iJET´s continuously updated intelligence
covers security, health, transportation, entry/exit, communications and five additional
categories for more than 150 countries and select cities around the globe. The
agreement gives ADM employees Internet access to iJET´s Worldcue services.
"Our representatives are in all corners of the globe so the need for information that
enables us to avert problems and maximize productivity is critical," said
Mark Cheviron, ADM Corporate Vice President and Director of Corporate Security
and Services.
iJET CEO and Chairman John Power added, "Our travel intelligence will provide
ADM employees with the information that they need, when they need it - no matter
where they may be traveling. This level of analyzed information has never before
been available to the corporate traveler from a single source."
Worldcue will expand in mid-June to offer personalized travel intelligence reports and
alerts directly to ADM staff and individual travelers. These advisories, the cornerstone
of iJET´s WorldcueTraveler service, will give ADM the unprecedented ability to
advise its travelers of potential travel problems before, during and up to 30
days after their trip.
