ANNAPOLIS, MD. (January 20, 2010) – iJET Intelligent Risk Systems, a leading provider of global intelligence and business resiliency services, announced today that David Weir has joined the company as Vice President of Resiliency Services. In this position, Weir will oversee and grow iJET’s resiliency services and solutions, managing ongoing client projects, relationships and support functions within iJET’s Professional Services Group, which provides specialized enterprise risk management solutions, consulting, assessments, customized intelligence and analysis, emergency response and resiliency services.
iJET’s Professional Services offerings, combined with iJET’s WorldcueÒ Global Control Center technology, enable organizations to effectively meet the growing business resiliency needs of today’s global marketplace.
“As today’s global, competitive business climate continues to evolve, iJET’s Professional Services offerings have proven to be instrumental to an organization’s ability to effectively anticipate, respond to and emerge successfully from business disruptions,” said Bruce McIndoe, iJET’s President. “With an extensive background in business resiliency and security, David brings a wealth of insight and knowledge that aligns with iJET’s continued services expansion. We look forward to welcoming yet another accomplished professional to our seasoned team of executives.”
Weir brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate security, professional services and client support, as well as global asset and risk management to iJET. Prior to joining iJET, Weir was the Vice President of Operations, Services and Support for the National Center for Crisis and Continuity Coordination (NC4) in Los Angeles. During his tenure at NC4, Weir helped build the company’s professional services offerings and was instrumental in delivering services and solutions to companies in several markets, including law enforcement, homeland security, education, travel and manufacturing as well as for federal, state and local governments. Prior to joining NC4, Weir served as vice president at several other organizations, including Candle Corporation, Aberdeen Group, Litton Enterprise Solutions and Amdahl Corporation. Weir holds a MBA from West Coast University and a B.A. in social sciences from the University of California, Irvine.
The addition of Weir follows a year of additions and enhancements to iJET’s Professional Services offerings. In September 2009, iJET launched its Enterprise Resiliency Assessment service, which provides organizations with an in-depth analysis of their risk management programs, as well as helps each department focus its resiliency efforts where they will have the most impact and provide the greatest competitive advantage. iJET’s MX PROTECT, introduced in July 2009 in response to the rise in drug-related violence and H1N1 (2009) virus outbreaks in Mexico, helps businesses operate safely and successfully in this emerging market by assessing and monitoring threats to operations, supply chains and personnel.
